ABOUT ME

Originally from Toronto, I’m a professional educator with almost 10 years of professional experience. As a driven self-starter and fast learner, I often volunteer my time to help teachers in various courses with their lesson-plan writing and provide tutoring for students who need assistance in their coursework. As a leader with strong interpersonal skills, I solved logistical issues in subject departments, conducted semesterly performance reviews, and implemented an updated international school academic honesty policy. By including a new accountability tracking system and updating the parameters of what constitutes plagiarism, I was able to bring the policy into the 21st century. Using strong technical skills, I also became problem solver and built a student score tracking system for my TOEFL classes. This helped identify specific gaps in student knowledge leading to a 30% increase in every section of their TOEFL scored in every category each time the test was taken. Looking into the future, I am ready for the next opportunity to reach out to the next generation and help them fulfill their goals.
